Legal
But navigating the County Court system can be confusing at best and frustrating at worst. Consider how much of your time you will waste scrutinising documents to ensure submitted legal papers substantiate your case. In addition, courts can often issue instructions that are both confusing and time restricted with failure to comply resulting in your debt recovery case being struck out.
SGP are not solicitors but we can act as your legal administration agent allowing you to carry on with your everyday business knowing that your case will be administered through to your hearing. At this point, it’s over to you to.
Many of our clients have successfully pursued their claim and obtained Judgment at a hearing against their debtor in cases up to £120,000. Should you be uncomfortable doing so, using SGP would not prevent you instructing a solicitor for the hearing with SGP having completed the majority of the case and therefore reducing your costs for representation. That said, our clients often feel that being an expert in their industry and involved in the case, that they are more than capable of defending the actions of their company.
SGP’s Legal Administration Service is fixed cost. This will enable you to evaluate the cost of debt recovery via the court unlike legal representation which can leave you with a substantial legal bill regardless of the outcome of the case. If you are confident in your company’s claim, but can’t afford to pay a solicitor’s rate to issue a claim and deal with the court prior to the hearing, then let SGP do the work for you.
